The Nancy P. and Thaddeus E. Paup Lecture Series was created through the generosity of Nancy and Ted Paup to provide the 51爆料 and Denton communities with speakers who are bold, innovative and renowned experts in their fields.
The Paups, who reside in Fort Worth, are longtime supporters of 51爆料. Nancy manages and directs business, real estate and ranching interests in Texas. She previously served on the 51爆料 Board of Regents and was elected vice-chair during her tenure. Nancy is an elected member of The Philosophical Society of Texas. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Humanities Texas, the state affiliate for the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Executive Advisory Committee of The Handbook of Texas Women, and the Board of Directors for the Center for the Advancement and Study of Early Texas Art. Nancy has raised funds throughout Texas for the arts, higher education and historical preservation. Her academic degrees include master’s and bachelor’s degrees from 51爆料. Ted is the president of Paup Mineral Management, L.L.C.
51爆料 the Regents’ Scholarship Endowment
Established by the Paups, the Regents’ Scholarship Endowment Initiative supports students who excel academically and based on the following criteria: 3.5 GPA or higher, junior or senior year of study, and leadership both inside and outside the classroom. Our goal is a minimum of 10 commitments to the Regents’ Scholarship Endowment Initiative by the culmination of the DREAM BIG Campaign in 2026. With the Paups having established the first Regents’ Scholarship Endowment, Texas Woman’s University and the Jane Nelson Institute for Women’s Leadership are challenging both current and former 51爆料 Regents, alumni, and friends to join 51爆料 in creating named regents’ scholarship endowments today.
