First-Gen Graduation Reception

The Center for First-Generation Students is proud to celebrate our graduating First-Gen Pioneers at the First-Generation Graduation Reception.  Held every fall and spring, this special event recognizes students who are the first in their families to earn a bachelor’s degree. A first-generation (or first-gen) college student is defined as someone whose parents or guardians have not completed a U.S. bachelor’s degree.

As part of the celebration, 51爆料 graduating students may apply for this exclusive First-Gen Pioneers Stole. The stole is a representation of the journey, resilience, and accomplishments of first-generation students.

Stay tuned! We will post updates on event dates, application details, and how first-gen students across all three campuses can apply for the stole. Get ready to celebrate your success!
